Jerry has worked in the financial services industry since 1981 and holds a Series 6, 22, 7, 63, 65 and 24. He is the Principal and Owner of Compass Advisory Partners, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor, and he is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP).

His main passion is financial planning.  He focuses on the areas of investing for retirement during the accumulation and income phase, and estate conservation and distribution to heirs using tax saving strategies and avoidance of probate. 

He has earned a Bachelor and Master’s degree from Murray State University and a Doctorate from Middle Tennessee State University.  He has additional experience teaching mathematics in the middle school, high school and university levels.

Jerry is married with two children and a grandson. He is an Elder in the Church of Christ.  He has been active in his community as President of the American Cancer Society, Chairman of the Manchester School Board, and an active member of the Rotary Club.
